Dr. Juan Sádaba is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of the Basque Country. Previously teaching at the Singapore University of Technology and Design as well as internationally invited lecturer and speaker. His professional work covers different scales of design, from Urban to Product Design, holding several patents. Currently researching on the intangible and tangible aspects of urban design and mobility for a more sustainable and human-centered future of cities and member of Ekopol research group. Among his recognitions and awards: Special Mention in Urban Design by the Basque Board of Architects Awards 2003, Urban Space selection in the International Design Awards B-awards 2010, and Finalist at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2012 and at the Media Architecture Biennale 2014.
