Over the past year, the Ikertu Nahien project has been working to create a network of researchers working on rural issues. Several interdisciplinary researchers have participated from the UPV/EHU, including members of Ekopol, but the project has also been created in collaboration with other institutions such as the Baztan City Council, UPNA, ESTIA and L Atelier des Jours à Venir.

There is a lot of work to be done in the search for innovative field research methodologies, but the lines of work that will be in place from now on will be aimed at research from and for rural areas.
